Can't send you because I have nothing left over here.

Anyway these pics are of a few canoe models of birch bark I made a couple of yars ago with the Attikamekw first nation of Quebec

What are you going to use it for ? do you want a sheet or bits.

Now they are nice!!! So are we talking a small catamaran or are you going to scale the whole thing up?

On the birch bark front, I will have a look around in my neck of the woods see what I come up with. Are you sure there is none in your area? I thought birch grew just about everywhere in the u.k.

Maybe in the future I could take you to some old people (very very few left) who still make these Birch Bark canoe's.
For a canoe lover like you, no doubt this sounds tempting hé

If its only for firelighting and not for containers then there are plenty of suitable sources round by you, take a walk round your local woods or even your local park, south park in Darlo has loads of birch in it and also down by the Tees. I know theres loads round Yarm as well so its there for the picking, as one of our most common trees it should not be too difficult to locate.
